ABB operations in Mauritius started in 1998. ABB has been an active partner in building up the Power & Industry infrastructures in the country.
ABB is credited with bringing in many new technologies into Mauritius – including the Design, Supply, Install & Commission 132kV Grid for CEB (85km of power-lines and steel structure, transmission towers built for 132kV but actually used for 66kV conductors only)
ABB has also associated with many prestigious projects like Anahita, Oil jetty at Port Louis. ABB has also Supplied, Installed and Commissioned various Waste water Treatment Plants and Pumping Stations for Waste Water Treatment Authority in Mauritius.
ABB has supplied various 22 KV Compact Switchgears ( Safe Plus ) to prestigious projects like Radison Hotel, Labourdonnais Hotel, Hilton Hotel, La Marie Filtration Plant, Oil Jetty at Port Louis, Altima Tower 2, Infinity Tower etc.
