ABB’s FSK II has evolved through advancements in design to become the FSK II +. This latest version, which builds on the outstanding 10-year track record established by the original FSK II, has received very positive endorsements across a spectrum of our key railway customers.
FSK II + is an evolutionary process that builds on the success established by the FSK II over the past 10 years thanks to key advantages such as the use of environmentally friendly N2 (nitrogen), its reduced footprint and the VE1 single vacuum interrupter, yet it also incorporates some important innovations.
Compared with the state-of-the-art FSK II design, the most important developments on the FSK II + are the externally bolted HV terminals and the polymeric insulators. The FSK II + is obviously electromechanically compatible, as well as offering a high level of flexibility and reliability to meet individual requirements.
Breakers can be delivered as loose equipment or integrated into outdoor AT light modules.
